Ingredients
250g minced chicken
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tomato, finely chopped
1 green chili, finely chopped
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
Chopped cilantro (coriander leaves)
Oil for cooking
Soorya Whole Wheat Parottas
Lettuce leaves
Sliced onions
Directions
To make the Chicken Keema, heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
Add green chili and ginger-garlic paste. Sauté for a minute. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.
Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add the minced chicken and cook until it’s no longer pink, breaking up any lumps.
Once the chicken is cooked through, garnish with chopped cilantro. The chicken keema is ready.
To assemble the chicken keema wrap, heat the Soorya Whole Wheat Parotta in a stove-top.
Place a Whole Wheat Parotta on a clean surface. Add a lettuce leaf. Spoon a portion of the prepared chicken keema onto the center of the Parotta.
Top with sliced onions, tomatoes, cucumber and cheese (optional)
Drizzle yogurt or mint chutney over the filling. Squeeze a lemon wedge over the filling for a tangy kick.
Fold the sides of the Parotta over the filling to create a wrap and serve the Chicken Keema Wrap immediately, optionally with extra chutney and lemon wedges on the side.
